With this growth, we are looking for an experienced Product Manager (PM) to lead and scale our marketing operations software to support our link building efforts.


In this position, the PM will be the architect of our marketing operations software. This person would be in charge of maintaining, improving, and scaling our complex, internally developed software to support our e-mail outreach. This position requires a strong data-driven mindset, technical aptitude, and an instinct for designing flexible, sound systems that connect, support, and automate various parts of our email outreach pipeline. 


This individual will also lead a team of 2-4 mostly remote outreach specialists, being accountable for the entire team meeting monthly goals to support our SEO. Our team is small (but growing!) and full of highly contributing individuals, so the right candidate leads by example, sets clear expectations, and holds his/her team members accountable, but is not seeking a role primarily focused on people management. This person will drive results both individually and with his/her team.

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Daily operations, design, and maintenance of our proprietary email outreach software
  • Measurement and reporting ownership for all outreach and link building metrics to leadership team
  • Manage a team of 2-4 (mostly remote) outreach specialists to meet monthly goals
  • Personally send e-mail campaigns to also help meet monthly goals
  • Use SQL to extract data and gather insights for optimizations


  • Bachelor's degree or higher with stellar academic performance
  • 1+ years hands-on experience with managing a large-scale, complex software product
  • 1+ years experience leading and managing a team with proven results to achieve ambitious goals
  • Strong data analysis skills with a proven ability to apply insights to evolve strategy
  • SQL proficiency ideally, or other data-focused programming language proficiency
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and project management skills
  • Experience with e-mail marketing and scaling and automating processes a huge plus

Recent graduates in data science, library science, information systems, database administration and other majors are highly encouraged to apply, or liberal arts majors who can demonstrate strong technical interest and aptitude. Upcoming graduates with excellent academic records and strong internship/summer job/etc. records are encouraged too!
